Slight spoiler and announcement: As most of you know, chinanovel.net has stopped translating God and Devil World because the author was racist against Japanese and Vietnamese in future arcs. I was going to announce this as we got closer but might as well do it now while everything is fresh. Our author here is also racist against the Japanese, but probably not as bad as God and Devil World. Whether his family/ancestors were hurt by Japanese, or he was brainwashed by Chinese propaganda, we don’t know. In about 10 – 15 chapters, he will throw out jabs and punches at the Japanese so this is a warning. As we approach that arc, I will also warn you guys again.
I wasn’t expecting our author to be like this because other major novels did not have this issue. But at the same time, I’m not surprised since they do live in a Communist environment and the fishing island issue cropped up. If you guys didn’t know, a lot of popular mainland Chinese TV shows are set in the early 1900’s where the theme was fighting against the Japanese invasion.

Got this out early morning instead of afternoon because of work related issues. Read chapter 47 here! It was the author’s biggest chapter so far with 3000 characters. Nothing much going on with our MC, slice of life stuff.
